1:00 pm 3:00 pm	Building Tomorrow's Leaders Event The NESC isproviding a GRADE 9-12 EVENT SERIES for ALL NORTH DAKOTA SCHOOLS! **BUILDINGTOMORROW’S LEADERSIS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION! Just think about the numerous leadership skills you’ve putinto action this past year and how essential those skills were for the successof everyone and everything around you. Help your high school studentsbuild and refine those same skills through engagement in this leadershipcurriculum, BuildingTomorrow’s Leaders, developed by the North Dakota State UniversityExtension Service with support from the North Dakota Department of PublicInstruction. Our energetic and engaging NESC Professional LearningSpecialist (and former high school teacher), Derryn Johnson, will be the leadfacilitator for this series! Participating student groups will dig into sixmodules from the Building Tomorrow’s Leaders curriculum which include hands-onactivities and applications of learning, culminating with a local servicelearning project. The NESC has led Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Regional Eventsfor the past two years with more than 100 students participating eachyear! Thanks to support from the ND DPIBuilding Tomorrow’s Leaders Grant and the Governor'sEmergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund, we are now able to make thisopportunity available statewide!
