1:30 pm 2:30 pm	Virtual Professional Learning Roundtable - Statewide Event! Virtual Professional Learning Roundtable: Friday, February 5^th, 1:30-2:30 PM CST! Here’s why you want to be there! We have a chance to bring in an external PD provider JUST FOR US in the near future…to develop OUR knowledge and skills…regarding how to create even more impactful PD! We will use this time to begin collecting and vetting these PD opportunities for our North Dakota professional learning facilitators! We need to hear from you! What do you need and want? Who and what do you know of that may be great for our group? When would be the right time for this opportunity? Spring or summer? How did this opportunity come about? It’s bittersweet. Learning Forward North Dakota (LFND) dissolved in Spring 2020, and some funds were transferred to the NESC as a result. The following is the statement released from LFND to its members in May 2020: After much consideration and consultation with members past and present, the board of learning Forward North Dakota, an affiliate of the professional learning association Learning Forward, voted to dissolve the affiliate effective April 17, 2020. The individual board members remain fully in support of the mission, goals, and objectives of Learning Forward and encourage cross-agency collaboration around professional learning. The remaining assets of the affiliate will be disbursed to an REA designated as a 501(c)3 organization to support professional learning facilitators across the state. We would like to curate your PD interests and referrals in February and then move forward with the groups' plan in spring or summer! Contact erin.lacina@nescnd.org to join!
