Beat The Odds® Professional Development Training - Bismarck, ND or Virtual Attendance Option
Beat The Odds® is a trauma-informed program, shown tosignificantly reduce behavioral health problems in children. It integratesactivities from group drumming and group counseling to build core strengths andskills, including social and emotional skills, team building, leadership,empathy, and gratitude. This event provides an exceptional opportunity to learnfrom Ping Ho, the creator of the program, as well as Central Regional EducationAssociation’s Melissa Spelchen, PhD, as the lead in-state facilitator. The costof this training is $50, with lunch provided, and it is held at Horizon MiddleSchool in Bismarck. Virtual attendance is also available via Zoom ifparticipants are unable to attend in person.
