1:00 pm 3:00 pm	Building Tomorrow's Leaders The NESC is providing a GRADE 9-12 EVENT SERIES for ALL NORTH DAKOTA SCHOOLS! *BUILDING TOMORROW’S LEADERS* IS NOW OPEN FOR REGISTRATION! Just think about the numerous leadership skills you’ve put into action this past year and how essential those skills were for the success of everyone and everything around you. Help your high school students build and refine those same skills through engagement in this leadership curriculum, Building Tomorrow’s Leaders, developed by the North Dakota State University Extension Service with support from the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. Our energetic and engaging NESC Professional Learning Specialist (and former high school teacher), Derryn Johnson, will be the lead facilitator for this series! Participating student groups will dig into six modules from the Building Tomorrow’s Leaders curriculum which include hands-on activities and applications of learning, culminating with a local service learning project. The NESC has led Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Regional Events for the past two years with more than 100 students participating each year! Thanks to support from the ND DPI Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Grant and the Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund, we are now able to make this opportunity available statewide!
