8:30 am 4:00 pm	NESC Setting & Maintaining Classroom Behavior Expectations using CHAMPS This one or two day workshop will focus on setting and maintaining classroom expectations to manage student behavior through CHAMPS protocols. CHAMPS is a system of proactive and positive protocols created to reduce the amount of behaviors in the classroom, maximizing classroom time. The workshop will get you thinking about how you approach behaviors in your classroom and what you can do to prevent behaviors before they happen. ***This workshop can also be taken as a one day offering on August 5, depending on your interest and the extent with which you want to explore and implement CHAMPS in your classroom. Learning from day one will scaffold into learning on day two. August 6 is an optional and recommended, second day.
